Proximal anterior matrices from Tor VM help you rebuild the side surface of a front tooth with composite. This small size suits narrow incisors.
Why choose the small size?
A thin, curved strip hugs the tooth and keeps the filling material from spilling into the gum area. As a result, the contact point and the outline need less finishing afterward.
Key features and details
- Anterior-shaped strips for front teeth
- Small size for narrow teeth
- Thin profile for easy placement
- Brand: Tor VM
Placing the matrix
Slide the strip between the teeth and press it against the tooth before curing. Also, use a wedge at the base so the edge stays sealed.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use it on back teeth?
It is shaped for front teeth. For molars, a sectional or ring matrix system fits better.
Is it single use?
Check the pack instructions. Many clinics replace matrices between patients for infection control.
